   Seven years as the Imperial Lord of Kivu and finally Rathe would be the first of his kind to know victory over an ancient enemy. A simple human female in a mountain village represented the final key to all of his machinations. 

When she heard the bitch-ass Lord of Kivu was coming to her village for her head, Salii considered it a blessing. At least she would not be cleaning vomit off the floor every time someone got a good look at her.

Blinded by vengeance, Doug hadn’t really cared why an Imperial lord wanted to personally kill an outcast bar cook. He only saw the mutilated young woman as bait for his plan. Unfortunately, the locals did care. They saw the profane witch and an infamous Imperial traitor as the path to freedom. Now, the only way to save languishing peasants bent on rebellion was to unite them with bloodthirsty Orcs through brazen lies. Sometimes revenge costs more than your life…way more.
